December Frosts
Release Date: Thursday 5 December 2024 - 11885
The December garden is all tucked up and enjoying a much needed hard frost to kill off some of the unwanted pests. We are in the process of moving the vegetable beds around to increase capacity and to improve access. All the old vegetable scrap has been tidied away into the compost bins and the dahlia bulbs snugged up in sacking for the winter. The dahlias were a fine show this year and we hope to bring back the best of them if they survive. Fingers crossed.
Work continues when weather permits on the veggie beds, the pond and the apothecary planting.
